Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund

Introduction
The Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Taiwanese American young people from low-income households to help them pursue higher education.
Who is eligible
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident (holder of a Permanent Resident Card) and a direct blood descendant of a Taiwanese citizen.
- Must be a high school senior or a first-year college student currently residing in the United States.
- Must intend to enroll full-time in a U.S. college or university as a first- or second-year student in the Fall of 2026. (If chosen, high school seniors will need to supply an official college acceptance letter for verification.)
- Must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 (high school or college).
- Household income must be at or below the applicable Federal/State/County Low Income Level. (If selected for an award, applicants must be able to provide their 2024 or 2025 tax return.)
- Open to students in any major.
Post-award requirement
All recipients will be required to produce a short YouTube video; specific instructions and guidelines will be sent to awardees at a later date.
