National Protein & Food Distributors Association Scholarship Foundation — Scholarship Opportunity
The National Protein & Food Distributors Association (NPFDA) Scholarship Foundation is offering scholarships to employees of NPFDA member companies and to their children/dependents. Each selected recipient will receive a $5,000 award. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient’s college, university, or technical/trade school. To ensure impartial selection, staff will remove identifying information from applications before the Selection Committee reviews them.
Who is eligible
- Be an employee of an NPFDA member company, or be the child/dependent of such an employee.
- Be enrolled full‑time at a U.S.-based college, university, or technical/trade school, or be a high school senior planning to enroll.
- Be pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or technical school degree.
- Graduate students must apply using the Graduate School application available online.
Required application materials
- Completed online application.
- Recent academic transcript uploaded with the application.
- A “goals and aspirations” essay — you may type the essay directly into the online form or attach it as a document. Please do not use AI-assisted tools when composing this essay.
- One letter of recommendation from an advisor or mentor who is not a family member.
Submission deadline
All application materials must be received by 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, April 10, 2026, to be considered.
Available application categories
1. Undergraduate application — for current college students enrolled full time or high school seniors.
2. Graduate School application — for students currently enrolled in or accepted to graduate programs (use the graduate application online).
3. Technical College / Trade School application — for students currently enrolled or high school seniors planning to attend.
