Delaware Equine Council Foundation College Scholarship Program

Delaware Equine Council Foundation Scholarship Application
The scholarship application establishes eligibility and outlines the selection process. Applicants must meet residency and enrollment criteria and submit an essay that is scored against a rubric. Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal resident aliens and either Delaware residents or DEC members; if not a Delaware resident, include payment for an individual membership as required. Applicants must be enrolled and in good standing in an agricultural, equine, veterinary, or veterinary technician program for large animals in the United States and must have completed or be about to complete one full semester.
Selection Process: Essays (350–450 words) are scored against a rubric by a panel of experts; the highest scorers receive scholarships. All awards are granted without discrimination based on race, sex, creed, or age.
