Introduction
The Martha Washington Garden Club of Yardley, Pennsylvania, is offering scholarships in memory of club member Jane Parr. These awards are intended for high school seniors or current college students who plan to pursue careers in horticulture or closely related disciplines.
Eligible fields of study
Qualified applicants should be planning to major in horticulture or a related area, including but not limited to: landscape architecture, forestry, conservation, environmental studies, turf management, conservation and wildlife management, marine biology, or floriculture.
Who may apply
Applicants must reside in the tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware. Candidates may be enrolled in college already or intend to enroll in an accredited college program in one of the fields listed above.
Award details and timeline
The scholarship amount will be determined annually. Awards are given to students actively attending, or planning to attend, an accredited college to pursue the relevant course of study. Completed applications must be received by May 1, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified and presented with their awards in June (exact date to be announced).
