Eligibility
The competition is open to students enrolled at the undergraduate or graduate level during the calendar year preceding the award presentation. Individuals who already hold a doctorate are not eligible to enter. Submissions must be single-authored and based on original, unpublished field research in the social sciences. Previous first- and second-place winners are barred from future participation to preserve opportunities for others.
