Scholarship overview
To help address the growing need for skilled professionals in aviation, Stratos is offering a $2,000 scholarship to motivated students. We are looking for emerging aviation professionals who demonstrate curiosity, integrity, a focus on safety, and strong attention to detail.
Who is eligible
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Currently enrolled at a U.S. college or university, or a student transitioning from high school to a U.S. institution of higher education.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Be pursuing or planning to pursue a career in some area of the aviation industry.
Please include proof of enrollment (or acceptance), documentation of academic standing, and confirmation of your intended field of study when you submit your essay to hr@stratosjets.com.
Essay requirements
The aviation sector expects a global pilot shortage over the next 20 years. To meet rising demand, more than 80 pilots will need to be deemed flight‑ready on a daily basis in the years ahead. Applicants must submit an original, well‑researched essay addressing the effects and implications of the Pilot Shortage. Essays should be between 1,200 and 1,500 words. Careful attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation is required.

We are accepting submissions through May 1. Your application package must include:
- Contact details (full name, email address, phone number)
- Proof of enrollment in — or acceptance to — an accredited U.S. college or university
- An official or unofficial transcript verifying GPA and coursework
- Your essay (1,200–1,500 words)
