Introduction
The Difference Makers Scholarship supports college students who have shown a genuine commitment to improving their communities. We seek applicants whose actions reflect meaningful service and positive impact. Below are the eligibility rules and application requirements.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Difference Makers Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States
- Be in their junior or senior year of undergraduate study
- Be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident
Application Requirements
Applicants should provide:
- Basic contact information
- Proof of current enrollment (examples: unofficial transcript, letter of acceptance/admittance, etc.)
- A response to the prompt below in one of the following formats:
- Essay of 1,000 words or fewer, or
- Video of 5 minutes or less

Describe your most memorable experience while making a difference in your community. What short-term improvements do you hope to bring about in your community next? Why do you believe this kind of service matters?

Selection Process
Our scholarship committee carefully reviews every application. We appreciate your patience while each submission is evaluated individually. Applications will be judged using these criteria:
- Compliance with eligibility requirements
- Originality, organization, and overall quality of the essay or video
- Clear evidence of meaningful service to the community
