Why we created the scholarship Our team’s ongoing professional development and dedication to new technologies are core to our success. To support continued learning and help future generations pursue education both inside and outside the classroom, we established the Blue Umbrella Waterproofing & Foundations Scholarship Fund. Scholarship overview - Total award amount: $1,500 awarded annually, split into three prizes of $500 each. - Recipients: Students who are entering or continuing their education in qualifying fields for Fall 2026. Eligibility Applicants must meet all of the following: - Be a U.S. student age 16 or older. - Be enrolled (or officially accepted and awaiting Fall 2026 enrollment) in an accredited college, university, or vocational/trade school for Fall 2026 in a program related to one of the following areas: Accounting; Building Technology; Building Services; Business Management & Administration; Climate and Energy; Construction Management; Drafting & Design; Electrical; Engineering Technology; Entrepreneurship; Environmental; Landscape Design; Home Improvement; HVAC; Graphics Technology; Finance; Meteorology; Manufacturing; Plumbing; Renewable Energy. - High school students taking isolated college courses are not eligible unless they have been formally accepted into a degree or certificate program and are pending Fall 2026 enrollment. - Provide proof of enrollment (official transcript or class schedule). - Complete the online application and submit the required essay and video. Note: Family financial status or prior scholarship awards will not influence selection. How to apply 1) Written statement — Prepare a statement (maximum 500 words) explaining why you chose your field of study, your post-graduation goals, and the role lifelong learning plays in your development. Save the essay as a PDF and upload it with the application form. 2) Video summary — Create a 1–3 minute video that summarizes your essay. Upload the video to at least one social platform (for example: YouTube, Facebook) and title it: "Blue Umbrella Waterproofing & Foundations Scholarship - Your Name". Provide the video link in the application form. Important dates - Application deadline: June 15, 2026 - Winners announced: August 15, 2026 — announcement posted on our Facebook page and winners will also be notified by email. Applying is straightforward: review the eligibility requirements above and complete the online application, including the PDF essay, video link, and proof of enrollment.
