Community Promotion of Beef
Women throughout Montana regularly promote beef at a variety of events. Local CattleWomen’s groups have donated beef to senior centers, prepared meals at trade shows and other gatherings, invited students to visit ranches (often finishing the visit with a cheeseburger), and offered beef samples using recipes developed with beef checkoff funds. If your local CattleWomen’s group needs financial support for a promotional activity, contact Vikki Taylor at vikkitaylor1961@gmail.com.
Beef Education
The Montana CattleWomen provide a range of free educational resources and activities suitable for different age groups and classroom settings. These materials cover agriculture, the beef industry and lifestyle, and practical skills for choosing and preparing beef. Funding for these programs comes from the Montana Beef Checkoff and local fundraisers. Some resources are available for download; others can be presented in the classroom by a speaker. To request materials or arrange a presenter (subject to availability in your area), contact Corey Taylor at mtcwbeefed@gmail.com.
