March of Dimes Nursing Scholarships — supported by Pampers
Overview
Since 1998, the March of Dimes Nursing Scholarships have honored outstanding nurses and nursing students who are committed to advancing maternal and infant health. Backed by partner Pampers, scholarships are awarded to the highest-scoring applicants who show a clear dedication to improving outcomes for mothers and babies. Each selected recipient receives a $10,000 scholarship.

Undergraduate Nursing Scholarships — who should apply
- Open to students enrolled in an accredited undergraduate nursing program.
- Applicants should be committed to providing respectful care to all and intend to pursue work in maternal or infant health after graduation.
- Application deadline: March 14, 2026.
Graduate Nursing Scholarships — who should apply
- Available to registered nurses currently enrolled in an accredited master’s or doctoral nursing program.
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong, sustained commitment to improving maternal and infant health for all families.
- The highest-scoring recipient in this category will be awarded the Dr. Margaret Comerford Freda Award — created in 2016 to honor Dr. Freda’s long service as National Nurse Advisory Council Chair, volunteer, and friend.

Selection and award
Top-scoring applicants in each category are chosen based on their dedication to maternal and infant health; each scholarship winner receives $10,000, provided by Pampers.
